Actually, my daily driver is part of the reason I'm considering a turbo. I have a Saab 9-3 that has a turbo charged 2.0L that puts out 210hp and 230ft/lbs at like 1800rpm. With a programmer, that easily goes up to 240hp and 270 ft/lbs by simply raising the factory boost from 12psi to 17psi. Supposedly, people are safely running upwards of 24psi of boost in them without motor issues, transmissions are a different story.
I think I'm going to go bigger cubes in all honesty. I think it suits my driving style best.

Have a 6.0 with a 76mm sitting down here. Its a dog though
How fast do you want to go is the ? We could reproduce Ashleys 11:1 427 put a 6 speed behind it and itll drive anywhere and scare the crap out of most people. And still go 9s while getting 20+ mph on the highway. And for some people that just wouldnt be enough

Well, I finally made my decision and I'm going to do a Procharger with a FMIC.
I bought the intercooler and tubing to fab up the FMIC and I bought Aster's bracket so that I won't have to worry about belt slippage. I'll most likely pick up a new D1SC unless a deal pops up on one. I plan to run about 8-9 psi at first and get eveyrthing squared away.
I'll spend the spring and summer getting parts then start the project this fall. It should be fun. I honestly think I enjoy wrenching on the car as much as driving it. I guess that's what makes it a hobby.
Thanks for everyone's input and suggestions.
