Default What do you think

my car will run in the 1/4 mile? I have a 6 speed and i'll be on drag radials. Details on HP in the sig. Im curious because I haven't been to the track since I supercharged it, so want to see what everyone thinks. I plan to get to the track this year, want to know what to expect.

Capable of high 10's likelyness of mid to high 11's till you get use to it and learn to drive it at the track.

mid to high 11s if you make it past the 60 on a stock 10 bolt.

Low 12.

6 Speed + Drag Radial - No Suspension - Zero Seat time = No where near it's capability.

After some Seat time and getting it to 60 foot at least 2.0 you can be in a high 11, but I suspect maybe not the first time out.

Ive been to the track many times before. Without he super charger I was running 12.6s and saw 12.4 sometimes. I have a moser rear so I think that shouldn't give me any problems. I was thinking mid 11s or if im lucky low 11s.

I went 11.1 with 500whp on a 1.60 60ft, you should be solidly in the 10's once you get the hang of driving it

A N/A 408 is a whole different beast compared to a Boosted 346 in the power band dept. How the car will 60 foot will be different and with the 6 speed, you need a Bias Ply Slick.

A DR does not have the sidewall or given that the car needs given the apparent stock street race weight.

Putting a good 28" Tall M/T ET Drag and hitting it hard will give you a good 60' and your going to see good times, well into the 11's but even as much seat time that I have I know well enough from my exp is you NEVER do your best run first time out and your going to spend at MIN 1-3 runs getting the throttle/clutch/rpm launch, and then playing with shifting.

Unless you go on a rental day and have the time to practice your going to not go as fast as the power that you make.

I would be curious to see what kinda pass it makes too, we have similar set ups. I have been waiting to get a rear under the car before I take it to the track.

Not to be a smart ***. but I would assume anywhere from 10seconds flat to DNF. I mean a lot can happen between the launch/shifts and grip. Not knowing how good of a driver you are, you might break the tires loose and get nervous and pedal it the rest of the way.

The best answer to your question lays at the end of the track and nowhere else.

That sounds like some ancient words of wisdom lol. Words to live by for sure. guess i will just have to wait and see. I am hoping for mid 11s and nothing to break. Ill let you know.

I went a 10.50@134 with 275 40 17 MT radial. a bone stock 3.42 gears 10 bolt and ZERO suspension work with my D1 procharged car when it was making around 600rwhp and that was a 1.6x 60'
