Looks like a nice stang, my friend had a silver 04 some time ago that looked just like that. Might be worth making the trip to NED in NH if your looking for some action. I don't screw around on the street with other cars.

I just want to see how my car hangs with a cammed LS1.

My best time was 12.7 @ 117mph. Bogged out of the hole.

 

My 2011 Camaro is cam'd. Runs 12.2 at 117mph so far.

im near boston, we have a hole slew of cars running around here. peabody, danvers area, id be happy to run ya in my stock vett. or we have a few other ls cars that would put up a good fight.

id say you should def hang with the majority of cam only cars...i never was cam only i got heads/cam kit so i cant speak from personal expirience.

 

I dont know what H/C LS1 car would run with 450HP. It just depends on the driver, tires and the day.
I really dont know how much HP I have, seriously but I've run a 10.5 on a very good day(130mph) and 11 on a bad.
You really should get up tp NED in epping Nh. Safest place to give it a go. Lots of nice guys up there and LS1's. Opens 4/1 if weather permits and it usually doesnt. haha.
I do admit though I race on the street if I,m in the mood and conditions are good and a mustang hits the throttle to play.

My cam only 6 speed gto has gone 11.76 na and 11.18 on the jug, I don't usually play on the street, but bring it up to NED and we'll have a go!

 

I agree with brentc5r. a 450 whp fbody could mean alot of things..and to boot i dont think a common cam only car makes 450...more like 380-420 as a rule of thumb..which would be on par with youre 117mph. by the way brentc5r im almost 100% sure i ran into you at ned on the last weekend in october judging by the profile. what a sick car you have i got to see you run twice and that thing is amazing. (i had the black trans am with the stock bottom end l92 in it)

 

when winter is finally over and the raods r clear. i be willing to do a freindly run. i just moved to marshfield a few months ago. so im not to far from u.

Agreed, I dont think a cam only LS1 can make 450 at the rear. If it could youd give up a lot of driveability on the street thats for sure. Slowhawk can chime in if he wants to he sees, tunes and dyno's a lot of them.

 

The lower cape roads are very clear. Just had a half inch or so at most monday so gona wait for the rain fri to clear em up, salt wise. We dont really have any on the ground 99.9% gone. pm me i had similar times well, a lil lower. I keep setting a MAF code but ill give it a whirl, if i lost against a supercharged stang i wouldn't feel bad lol.

 

i thought so. if i had a vette those wheels would be on mine they look so good. brent what are u running for 60 foot times. i kno you recommended trying more airpressure in the et streets as you had better luck. i never got around to doing that. speaking of ned how is it early in the year i allways seem to miss the early months. i never get up there untill like august. whens everyone planning on going up?

 

I'll be there during the X275 and Outlaw class in April.
