Just looking to see how my car goes up against a LS1. Looking for a cammed/exhaust LS1. My car is a 2003 Mustang GT, 5 speed, Vortech s/c, intercooled @ 10psi 385rwhp/372rwtq. Its got 3.73's.

Should be a good run from a dig, gonna be tough from a roll though IMO. Only one way to find out though.

My best run at the track was 12.7 @ 117mph. That was on NT555Rs but I bogged out of the hole.

 

I don't play on the street anymore or else I would be in. however if I was out driving around I probably would anyways lol. Either way good luck you might start looking for an ls1 after your race

 

Lol. I took a 01 WS6 out for a test drive, It was quick for sure. But it was so uncomfortable. I didnt like the interior at all. Thats jmo, Im more of a Mustang guy. Always will be, but I respect anything thats fast.

 

There are plenty of f-bodys around here that run similar times. Probly just have to wait till the weather clears a bit.
I had a 90 notch supercharged about 12 years ago. Too cramped for my taste.

 

From the sound of those #'s sounds like your running a 2 valve motor, please correct me if I am wrong. I am not from MA but I am sure you can find someone. Just maybe not this time of season, things are thawing out soon.

Im having H/C installed in the next month or so im down once the weather gets nicer. I live on the North Shore. There are plenty of built LS cars down your way. Most people dont drive them this time of year.

 

jeez all you have to do is go out sat afternoon when the weather breaks and get on 495
or 3 or 24 or whatever and they'll be plenty of guys looking for a race. Somehow i know you know this.

Yah true, I usually dont go out looking for races though. Once in a while, but I get nervous with the cops around here.

thats pretty good mph..id be up for it but not for a few months..im out in central mass im allways around 495..mass pike area..but im a 6.2 lower end with heads (tuned by slowhawk like the others). nice car btw

 

Thanks buddy. Yah, I think I would have trapped around 118mph. If I didnt bog out of the hole.

I've probly seen you before. Grew up in Marshfield and cruised the south shore alot. During the summer I drive around there.

Just depends on which car I'm driving but most of the time I won't race anyone.

best e.t was 11.41..ran several 11.4x on the last weekend in october. mph was high 124 into the 125's. the 11.41 was on a 1.8x 60 i believe..could not hook for ****. story of my life haha
