I have to agree with both fran and AJ here... I am a huge fan of Jays car. But the car to my knowledge doesn`t drive on the street and I think if it did he may not be doing the bumper bumper traffic sit in high heat and make 40 plus mile drives on the highway... Sreet/Highway driving a hot rod tears them up...
2 speed powerglide
Not known to be driven on the street (to my weak knowledge)
Travels more miles on a trailor than being driven.
Equals race car in my mind
And I am not ready to call Carlo`s car a street car either...

That was 10 days before the LSX shootout in St. Louis, notice the 315/60-15 DR's (30"dia.) Had to cut the rocker panels & enlarge the L5 flares. The car cruises great on the street with those monsters. No problems getting ice cream.
Finished pics from LSX shoutout.

Pump gas- No problem, run it all the time (below 3K) which is good enough to cruise the speed limit on any highway. = Race Car/Street Car

Difference between a racecar and streetcar is if you do drive it on the street and get pulled over by a cop, is it going to get towed away or not. Granted, depends on the cop, but you get the point. There is no specific definition or line that can be drawn, but it's one of those things that you know it when you see it.
