good night last night. track was ****, first pass we spun, 2nd pass we hooked then spun 100 feet out. went 10.6 and a 10.7

everyone said give up, track is getting bad. so we did a little suspention tunning, tweaked a bit and dead hooked (timmy lifted a bit) and went 10.4 took a touch of fuel out and went 10.3 and called it a night. still some tweaks, not bad for first time out for the season. got me thinking about running my car. hhhmmm, maybe next friday night

Idk how you guys hook even a little bit up there. I hooked 1 out of maybe 15 pass attempts this year on 3 different trips. Im still new to this but damn, I think the track goes to hell fast.

What kind of tires are you on ? You need some MT ET streets.

I was with noyzee running my black t/a..

I'm just running a 275 radial. Suspension tweaks are key, we dead hooked at 9pm lol The track was truly crap at that point to. 1.4x 60'

Noyzee suspension division was working

First couple times at the track this year I had the 275 hoosiers and hooked one time with time in sig. Last time I went up I had the new mt et st radials. Went all the way down to 17psi and never hooked.
I tried psi from 28, 25, 20, 18, 17, on both tires. Interesting thing was the time I hooked with the hoosiers I was at 28psi but that was my first pass and maybe 10th in line from when they opened.
I still have more to learn so im sure my inexperience has some to do with it. Oh and stock suspension might not help?

its all in the suspention. first 2 passes we spun a bit, so we did a little tweak here and a touch there and boom, dead hooked and car was rocking!!!!

senical. you have any suspention in the car? shocks, lower control arms, pan hard, sub frames?

my cousins car with et street rad wouldnt hook very good on spray. we tossed a set of hals in the rear and a little teaking and he was dumping the clutch and yanking the front tires, its all about suspention working with the tires you have

Are u doing a really good burnout? Drag radials like a lot of heat

Noyzee...its all stock suspension. I didnt have any issues with hooking last year on stock stall but now with the 3600 I feel like its never gonna hook on the track. Guess I should start learning more about suspension huh.

Camaroracing...well im not sure if the burnout is good enough I guess. I drive around water box, back into water, burnout untill I hear no more rocks flying (probly 3-5 seconds), then foot off brake and burnout for a few feet after. Does that sound like enough? Im a little new in the game especialy with this stall.

senicalj...

I would go straight into the water, spin the tires to get them wet. Move forward and do a nice burnout (5-10secs?) then roll out of it. Works great for me with my m/t street radials
