NJ Inspection Question
Not too sure if anyone knows an answer to this, but figured I'd give it a shot.
Previously, NJ Inspection Stickers used to have the Year/Make/Model/VIN Imprinted on the sticker. I believe a few years back that changed.
Now it's just got a sticker number and barcode on it.
Now, I know a few people with stickers from auctions that claim these stickers work fine since the format changed. Sure, it's a valid sticker, but not registered for XXX car.
When cops run your plates, do they see whether or not the car is inspected or not? Or would the cop have to physically scan the barcode to find out more?
This is all hypothetically speaking, of course.

I was told the same.
Of course, this being a hypothetical and made-up conversation, have you been pulled over with said inspection sticker while knowing yours is currently expired/rejected?

Haha hm. Leads me to question still.
My "rejected" sticker happened to fly out the window upon driving and I never had a front license plate mount. My savior so far.
Between that and night driving, I've been alright. But not being able to drive during the day sucks.
I don't speed back in Jersey, so don't really get pulled over. Although, the occasional burnouts and exchanging rev's doesn't help my situation.

Leave me the hell alone. I may be slightly very slightly screwing up the ozone but it won't affect our lifetime.
Gotta get a receipt and paperwork filled out that it was fixed and get it reinspected. Pfffft. Not happening. I'm the only one that touches my cars. And if they won't accept my handyman-ship, Ill go behind their backs.
