Default Crazy heat wave over....

This past weekend was ridiculous in the northeast. I drove my car throughout it though. Didnt overheat with the a/c on but was running pretty hot. Just curious to see what water temps you guys were seeing in your modded fbods this weekend a/c on or off.

I don't have ac. My temps were only a little above normal with the fan on.

my temps were way above normal but so was the temperature outside. car normally runs around 180 with the a/c off. it was 100 degress at times and the car was running at like 235 with the a/c on.

A little higher than normal but not much. Nothing for me to worry about. Although I was not sitting in traffic either...

My car was running pretty close to normal. If I had the ac on and I was stuck at a red light the temp would creep up a tad, but nothing to worry about.

for an lt1 its not bad because of the reverse cooling. still i have a 160 tstat and programmed the fans to come on early so i was surprised to see the temps that high. but then again it was 100 degrees outside. i have to drive around for a while with the a/c off. if the temps start creeping to like 200 then i'll know somethings up. usually i run around 180 with the a/c off.

if the temp with the a/c off is normal but creeps up like 40 degrees hotter when the a/c is on what could be wrong?

I did a ton of driving this past weekend and never saw above 185. I don't have A/C though. I wouldn't be driving with 235 degree temps though. I was happy not to have any temp issues with the new turbo setup.

My car was running just as cool in the hot weather because of my electric water pump. Mods are in my sig link.
