Short story....Yesterday I took the neutered G8 for a long ride and trader her in on a bad *** rotary drag car. It has every option I need!!!! Loud popping exhaust, numerous oil leaks, dual powerless windows, not essential needed wheelie bar, rear mount laundry bag,tow car and a six CD changer loaded with Salsa music.. Though I will miss the luxury and comfort of the grocery getter and it's speed it was time to move on..
Goals for the new whip are..
1) Nice long load burn out w/out breaking
2) Light the first stage light before tech flags me off for a oil or antifreeze leak
3) Light the second stage light before tech flags me off for a oil or antifreeze leak
4) Launch the car w/out breaking
5) Make it past the 60' mark under power
6) Make it past the 1/8 under power
7) Make a full pass under power.
8) Make Fireball look slow
I think these goals are within reach and I look forward to meeting them...

Well there are a few factors to consider. Only the 2005 rears are known to be a little 'weak', 2006 and up C6 rears are not too bad, especially when partnered with an automatic (though I'm assuming his is a manual).
Is this car a 2005 or a 2006/2007?
Again, not too far from the truth if it's a manual...but I've seen automatic 2005 rears make it well into the 10s without breaking. :yesnod:
