Bruce - jerry's car was between 3320-3340 (truck scale) with 20's all around. Roll bar, with little gas. I would think your car would be closer to 3250-3300
which means 200something lbs would need to be added.

What is weight diff between stock wheels and rts on all 4?

Stock C6Z06 wheels vs Weld RTS wheels 17x4,17x11 would be almost 90lbs lighter. Jerrys car has a 5 or 6pt roll bar and a bunch of nitrous stuff ran in the car. Jerry's car is a 2006 so its approx 40lbs lighter than mine from the get go.

Jerry is also struggling with what to do, to add weight safely to his C6Z06/LS7 car to race.

I "think" the LS7 is only offered in the Corvette Z06 correct? Now obviously it can be added to any car. Just thinking here.

Maybe next year (seeing how it goes this year) the vettes can be 3300? Ls7 fbody etc 3500? Something like that

I don't think jerry will be able to add enough weight. I think he'll need a full tank of gas and 200lbs once welds go on

No you do not have to pay the $100 to test on Friday if your not testing... See below

http://importvsdomestic.com/wcf/schedule.htm

** All racers are welcome to arrive on Friday and park their trailers if they wish. There will be an Early Bird Test Session on Friday at $100 per car (Track will be prepped the full 1/4 mile). Everyone arriving on Friday will only need to buy a 2-Day wristband for Saturday & Sunday or a Tech card for the weekend. There will be no separate admission fee for Friday.

Yes, we want to see what the LS7 Vettes run this year in the class since this is their first year allowed in the class. We will look into lowering the weights next year after we see what they run this year.

Whomever is running go into the roll call thread in the Drag Racing forum on LS1tech and say your coming and I will add you to the roll call list for the raffle.

I know that's what you and Doug had told me on Saturday but I just wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth (oh ****, I just called Jason a horse?! ).
I should've just looked closer at the event's schedule/rules page (which are very clear and well written I might add ) for further clarification.
Thanks Jason (and Steve).

AKA you're screwed!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to run my C6Z06 aswell but the brackets are not as fun as a all motor class IMO

I guess I'll have to bring Jason Chocolates and roses on Nov 11th
