Ohio Boys hit the wall. Thankfully the drive walked away from what we heard. Happened just after the traps which would have been 174 if I recall correctly.

Few were saying he had a good change an finally breaking Major's LSX record if it would have been a clean pass

Pic bellow doesn't really show all the damage, looks like they hit nose first.

I think it was disappointing to say the least that the most exciting part of the race had to be cut short... next year I hope they make the necessary changes to make sure they have time for the finals.

Seeing Mike Brown wreck was very scary, but it was a relief when it was announced he was able to walk away from it. Best of luck to the Ohio Boys in their future projects, it's always fun watching you guys run at these races!

THIS IS REALLY SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!! Less imports breaking/oiling down the track. DONE plenty of time installed. FIXED Voilah!!!!!!! Make all imports use a belly pan... and even less issues! Nearly no spills. I counted well over 20+imports go bang on Saturday alone. When you're going that fast sh*t happens.

For what its worth I had a great time even with all the breakages. Its not often you get to see pretty much all street cars racing all day long and packed in the pits and lanes. Job well done and MIR lives up to every bit of the fastest clean ups PERIOD!

It was everything breaking/oiling down the track. Not just imports. Mustangs, trans am's wrecking, blowing trans then driving down the 1/4.

atleast 2012 will be heads up/index only and 3 days. as per jason miller on yb

OK I agree partially with that. There was also a problem with this one TBSS running 18's on every pass. That was like waiting for 3 other cars to make a pass. That guy should be shot!

2 of 3 passes I made spun bad. I hate running 275 Drs with a t56 but thats how the rules are. Only had 3 passes on DR, so that doesn't help.

Lost 1st rd to a 10.1 NA Honda All motor is a great class, need to get more LS1 guys in it.

Had a good time. Always a fun event even with the delays the crew at MIR works fast to get them back up and running quick.

I wanted to run all motor, but im about a second off the pace and i would have had to add weight. I think the weight limitations in that class were too high.

What class does a RX7/LS1 fit in? Import or domestic? We were across from you in the pits and I was curious LOL.

I would think domestic, since they have the categories sorted by motor and not by body...the same situation would be had for the Fox-body with the Turbo 3-Valve.

Thats what i was figuring too. I ended up running 11.50 index, so it didnt matter. I would have liked to have run all motor tho.
