manuals were 3.42's.

And I would never dream of racing a bike unless Im in a low 10 sec or better car. Seen way to many of them at the track running rediculous times stock.

Not trying to be disrespectful, lemons... But you're wrong. Yeah, bikes are fast... But it's not all that hard to make a car faster.
If you say so sweetie

Let me know next time you match a bikes hp/weight and they still yank you from a low roll.

Their throttle response and gearing coupled with awesome traction makes them absolutely stupid from first gear.. Those can't be replicated in a car.
Of course the higher the speed the more aero comes into play and the less advantage the bike has and the more the car has.

Gearing plays a huge roll in it. Very aggressive gears with rpm capability. Like having a car with 456s but not have to shift out of first until 70mph. Kinda changes the perspective huh..

No disrespect in disagreeing.

I know most of you are going to call bullshit.... but most all new 1000s will do 100mph in first gear . and you better have a 9 sec car to hang with a 1000 from a roll .

Still not even remotely close to a bike.. Like stated, a liter bike will do over 100mph in fort gear, a stupid first gear. Liter bike would be more like a 5.xx gear.

Yeah the liter bikes are no joke. But I've raced a few 600s at thhe track and put a good hurting on them just for the fact they usually don't cut great 60' times.

I guess I'll say it again... Not my fault if they can't ride and I pull on them.

So why dont you say you killed a shitty *** driver because you didn't kill the bike.

Put Slowhawk on a 600, nevermind the 1000 and he'll embarass you. A 1000 with a good driver? Unless you have 850+ and/or a 9 second car I dont wanna hear your beating the bike, your beating a shitty driver.

I had a 277 hp 3,500 pound Subaru Legacy and I beat a Ferrari. Does that mean my car is faster then the Ferrari? I can't drive a bike for **** and I bet I'm romp your car.....over and over and over and over and over and over again until the cows come home on a 1000cc bike.

Maybe the guy in the liter bike was trying to speed up from 50mph to 60mph to pass a car, you were drinking a few Four Locko's.....got a 2 mile start, flew by him at 140mph and since you heard him giving the bike an extra 500rpm you thought you took him down. Stop trying to be a badass.....the bike would kill you on any given day. Swallow your pride or end up with a 75,000.00 f-body so you can take down a 10,000.00 motorcycle.

Man I don't know, I love fast cars and have one that will run singles. But when Im on my nitroused R1 there is not many cars I fear on the street.
My DD 99 Trans Am with h/c nitrous is a pretty healthy car, I ran a turbo cobra one night and lost by half a car. Then he wanted to race a bike so I went home and got the R1 and came back with no bottle and I can honestly say it was not even a race no matter if we went from a dig or what roll.
I've been riding bikes for a several years now, got my first R1 when i 19 and even as a young rider back then my frist night at the track I ran a 10.8 trapping 137mph when it was bone stock. I was scarred to really luanch it. Kind of imtimadating when you know your not going to spin and your boots are stuck to the track from the VHT. It was 96 degrees that day and I was sweating my *** off in my leathers sitting in the staging lanes.
I remember it so well since that was my first time in the 10s ever. That same bike put down 147whp and 76tq on a mustang chassis dyno. I can say that riding a bike on a dyno built for a car and with the meat grinder of doom right under your feet is scarier then 190mph down the road. Espically when all your buddies have their camara phones out waiting for the bike to come flying off the dyno and you to be a greassy spot on the floor.

Sure there is a lot of videos or cars hanging with bikes on youtube, but let me assure you if you put a rider with skills, but mostly crazy with ***** of steel. It would take a whole lot of car to beat him on a liter bike.

It takes 550+Rwhp to give a decently rode 600 a run, with a 3,500# or under race weight.

It takes 800+Rwhp for a liter bike, and you better not have traction issues.

For the most part don't ever race a ricer bike on the roll.
There are very few cars out there that can beat a bike on a roll.

The weak spot for bikes are out the dig and under 1/4 mile.
Don't ever race a bike on 30 mph role.

If you can't get the performance out of a bike, and I beat you... Hooray for me. I still win.

Honestly, it makes me happier knowing that driver skill was the deciding factor in a race.

Don't downplay someone's kill just because you find it hard to believe or think anything on two wheels is some monster...

I've raced 600's riden by guys I hang out with pretty regular, and I know that some of them can hang damned good. Have I lost? Yeah, a few times. Have I won? Damn straight.

It seems like a lot of hating has been dished out, I guess I didn't make myself clear enough. With a few grand in well-chosen mods, it's not that difficult to beat your average Joe on a 600. Sure, somebody that spends some serious time in the saddle may still take you, but that's what spray is for.

And Nick, you'll see a lot of Busa's around here. I have no clue why, but there are a lot in HR... Unfortunately a lot of them have heavy-*** chrome wheels and ridiculous swingarms, though... If you're ever over by JEB/Dam Neck, watch out for a Busa with flat black paint and random chalk (yes, real chalk) graphics. That thing may look like ****, but he's got a snail that I can fit my fist into. If you can, talk to the guy that rides it, he's a pretty cool cat.

my WS6 ran dead even with a gsxr750 from a 60/70 roll and thats with a stock motor and 175 shot. I will say though that it takes alot of power to run with any of the new big bikes. I have seen some fast street cars go down to some stock bikes.
Then again I was with my friend one night in his Grand national and a bunch of bikes came to town to show him whats up and they all went home crying and this includes a nitrous Busa. I have it on video of the Busa getting steam rolled from a stop and a roll.
We even let them pick any speed they want and still got walked bad by a Buick Regal.

Cars beating bikes, huh? I know several cars can beat my bike, but most I see on the road can't. And my bike is SLOW. My slow as heck 800cc Interceptor runs 11.1 stock with a perfect launch. The newest version of my bike, the VFR1200 runs 10.1 stock. Just saying
