Freakin' uptight corvette forum-Lol-unbeleivable......... In the C3 section-kind of a gay thread but someone asked what "gender" and name your car is. Stupid right? 
So I read it and some are saying their car is a female cause its curvy and they named the car Mary cause it's their Moms name-crap like that.
So I figure I'll have a little fun in here so I write:
My car is female and I call her either "bitch', "f*ckin' bitch" or "u gotta be kidding me"
Lol-I thought that was hilarious and all of us who work on our own cars has uttered these same words a million times over.

Back in the day I was the parts and service manager at a Corvette specialty shop. We had a car show event.
The owner of the shop picked a heavily modified "street/strip" 62 Corvette as "Event holder's best of show". You should have seen the line of Corvette elitists lined up to tell her how much they disapproved of her choice.
All I could hear was words like "ruined" "destroyed" and "butchered" when referring to the prize winner.
I remember thinking what a bunch of little bitch *** dweebs.

Yeah they have some real purists over there.
To tell the truth, I own a C3-the cars as stock, even the big blocks leave alot to be desired.
Under powered, especially by todays modern day standards, rears are for ****.
Styling is nice IMO, full frame, nice stance if you set them up right and with some suspension work will wheelie like an f body.
But stock? You would think what these purists are preserving.
