Thumbs up 1st sled race of the year, hill climb. did well

so sled season has started. did a couple runs on grass, sled ran well.
but this past weekend was a hill climb in maine, they made snow for it. i entered my 800 into the 800 class and the open mod class and ended up with first in the 800 class out of 80 sleds, and 3rd in the open mod class (full out race sleds) out of 25 sleds

i also put my brand new 800 xp into the 1000 class and won 3rd in that class out of 40 plus sleds.
i would have run both in 800 class but they would not let me, and i was going to run both in the 1000 class but they would not let me.
if i did time wise i would have been 1st and 3rd in 800 class. 2nd and 3rd in 1000 class, and 3rd in mod. lol

i also had 2nd fastest time of the day out of every one there. 239 sleds!!!

good stuff. leave a week from tomorrow for new years trip. cant wait!! long weekend here we go!!!

anyone sledding????

Congrats! Sounds like you kicked some serious ***!

I don't really have any experience with sleds, but have always been fascinated with them. Just don't snow enough here to justify buying one.

I have been seriously thinking about adding a 04-06 Rev MXZX to my stable. This weather has been making me reconsider though. Its 54 degrees today in Portsmouth, NH.

go 05-07 they had better rings in them and made a tad more power and held up longer. 07 being the most power do to added timming in the ecu.

i love my rev, diging my new sled as well. consider i ran my fully done up rev to a 14.65, 15.20 and a 15.45 while i took my brand new lightly tweaked, 20 miles on the sled first time ever ridding an xp and wen 15.60 and a 15.40 with it. lol
my rev should be quicker on the ice, but not sure on the snow.

either way i love it, and snow will fly soon. in all my years of sledding ive only sledded one or 2 times before x mass, so im not to worried about it. hoping for the best
