have had mine off the road since new years because of "predicted snow". unfortunately I have no where to store my car in Boston so if i bring it up from my parents house it absolutely has to get driven every day (other than Sundays) to get free parking so if it snows and/or they salt the roads I'm screwed

A few of us try and get together once and a while, but some things have changed.

I'm just gonna wait another month or so before I drive it. I've had the car about 12 yrs, guess I don't have the itch like I did when it was newer to me.
Sounds good, I got to get these swirls out before I go to any shows Haha

if you have a black car and i see that you do chances are you should have it done ....he has the best prices around for what he does. if after youre car is done in direct sunlight you will se just nice deep black paint ..not something that looks like it has been washed with sandpaper. i love black but i hate the fact that you see everything in the paint

Thanks guys. Black is a choir, but nothing looks quite as nice when its first done. Then you just gotta keep Don from hanging off your fenders. (actually he's really good about that)

Hey what do you know its snowing right now, we might get a whole inch! Man this has been a great winter, but we deserve it after the harsh last few.

If the gas prices predictions are true I would get it out just to put gas in it while prices are still "cheap"

See I tell people to go to Don to beef up their ride, he screws up their paint and says, hey I know a guy that details. Circle of life.

No **** right. Yeah I've been tossing around the idea of a m6 swap and putting in some mpg friendly gears since I havn't been to a track in years anyways. I miss the Reagan years....

We actually have a very good detail right next to us now. The big project cars get fully detailed after we are done.

Yes black is a hard color to keep clean and get it corrected and all that good stuff. IMO it looks the best on a SS though. I'm leaning more towards having it professionally done, i can do it myself but i don't think i will be 100% happy with the results as i would if someone with more skill, knowledge and resources would do it such as Danno here.

I no longer have my ride, but when Danno cleaned her up it was nice!! I almost forgot what it looked like when I bought it! I know it had to be a pain to clean up since it had just under 100k miles on it, but it held up as best as it could given the crappy Subaru paint.

No matter what I drive next, first trip will be to visit Dan (and partner in crime Scott).
