so its now february 19th and its been an awesome winter so far for us in the northeast. I have spring break i 2 weeks, you guys in new england think its safe to put her back on the road then? or think we'll get slammed with some march snow
i was thinking of bringing my car out also ...im in massachusetts but i know as soon as i do we will get hammered with snow. you have to remember in new england in ten minutes the weather can change ...i hope we dont get anymore snow but who the hell knows
I always wait until it rains a few times to wash away any salt still on the roads. Mine doesn't come out until April. We seem to get one last snow fall between February and March here.
think its safe to put her back on the road then? or think we'll get slammed with some march snow
Honestly, what do you think would happen to your car if it's out in the elements one time? Do you think it will explode or the body will instantly rust off and break in pieces all over the road the second a thing of salt/rain/snow touches it?
Of course it's safe, cars are made to handle rain and other forms of precipitation.
There was no reason to pull the cars off the road this winter.

you know so many people have asked me why are you driving this thing in this weather, i just say what weather, yeah its a lil cold but the roads are dry,no salt or anything,we have had upper 30s and 40s, a few50s and most of the time it sunny, i dont get some people. honest i remember i was at a vette show and it started to rain, you should of seen all these morons throwing on there car covers or racing back to there garage , it was funny as hell, my buddy was yelling oh no acid rain melts vettes lol
Hmm, idk about you guys but the salt on the roads by my house in new york EAT the bottom of the cars, especially if you don't have time to wash them all the time. I have a northeast car that's 11 years old with little to no rust on the undecarriage, i just want to keep it that way
It's supposed to snow this weekend in Ohio. I would say you can bring it out though. I never put mine away this year. I put my all season tires back on just in case. I'll probably bust out my sticky tires in about 2 weeks after I polish out my one rim I have left.
I had mine out saturday after the rain thursday figured it cleaned up the salt. I think there will be a few more good days to drive its supposed to be warm this whole week
