Default I see a new ride soon....

the question is what!? The only real thing I was thinking and may have convinced the wife was garage first, then the possibility of a ~50k car realistically after a 40-50k garage. Must be in that price range, so both used and new are an option. What would you buy!?? ALL MAKES AND MODELS WELCOME!! I'm thinking used CTS-V, used C63, or used 911.

I'm in the same boat. One kid comes out of daycare in September, so I'm looking into a new daily driver as well. A pre-owned CTS-V(2) might be in the cards, who knows.

Yeah. I've always debated a Z06, but with a child I can never decide to go 4 seater vs. 2 seater. Hence why I was looking at used sport luxury like the CTS-V and C63.

I got rid of my C6Z and got a CTS-V wagon. Soooo happy with the wagon! I don't miss the Z one bit.

That makes me feel better at looking into a 4 seater.

I love my V1 ctsv. But the lack of factory boost is slightly annoying. But cammed ls2 does sound nasty

def. a broad range of cars but i would LOVE a 911. maintenance would scare me on the 911 or the C63 though...tough decisions but a good problem to have haha

yeah. the big thing for our area is needing a place to store it, hence garage first then a NICE car.

After the Taj Mahal garage you wanna build I got the feeling that filling it is gonna come a bit later, haha. Plus don't you need somewhere to go before you buy a car? Priorities man .

Just buy something with an LS motor and you will be ok. Although a 911 pretty much is in its own world and outclasses any gm offering, too much money for my blood though.

50k for me, I'd be slightly used CTS-v (2), or c6 GS.

In a few years we may be getting some Holden exports soon (just to get you thinking)

yeah I know Dan. The thing is that if I got the wife on the ropes now, a garage is a 100% do it now, then within the next year I can grab a used CTSV,911,or other 50k car. If I held out another 2-4yrs I could grab a 80-100k car. It all depends on how long I can hold off. After not having a decent car for the past 2 years it makes it hard to say "I'll just drive the Forester." LOL

How you are building a huge garage and buying a 50k car with no job blows my mind. I need your secret!

No car to spend money on means more in savings!!! The proof is in the Forester, I just bought pads and rotors all around and just 1 rotor for the STi cost more than all the parts for the Forester!
