Sled guys come in!
the f6 is an ok machine but not like the f7.
my girls 600 sdi rev is faster then 99% of the f6's i have run with and its as fast or faster then a lot of the 800 rev sleds and in the trails and bumps it handles soooooo much better.
the f6 is old *** technology and they handle like a pogo stick. the rev is leaps and bounds above the f6
the motor in the f6 is a great motor but the rest of the sled doesnt hold a candle to a rev. the doo is better all around
rev sled is by far the best bang for the buck sled on the market today thats why i have 4 of them and recomend them to anyone getting into sledding.
now my new xp (2012 x 800) i love but it comes with a $13,000 price tag
stick with a rev. my buddy will call you on that 600 sdi. thats the sled for you!!! its a gsx but for short money you can toss a riser on it (i have one you can have) and a low windsheild with hand gaurds and it will look like an x and still have all the good stuff.
its the way to go for sure!! and i can clutch it for you for short coin. buy the spring and weights and your good to go. prob about $100 (online kits go for $300-$600+ and my set up will walk all over them)
go rev for sure. dont look at price tags, the f 6 will always be a cheaper sled and that should tell you something.
also talked to another buddy who may have an 06 coming in for around that price. he is going to let me know. he will be at grass drags with a booth. i will let you know what he says and if he finds out you can talk to him at grass drags.

On the snow i sure hope so too. I usually do nothing in the winter. I dont ski or really snowboard. This will be my fun activity for winter time.
i used to ride with a pile of guys on the old f sleds. in the tight and twisty or the straight lines we would be right there. as soon as we got into bumbs and woops for get it, i was long gone. and for off trail the f sled is like a chain saw in deep snow where the rev floats nice.
2004 MXZ 600SDI
3100 miles
Bar risers, hand guards, bar (hook) ends
Triple point carbides w/ shimmed skis to prevent "darting"
Tunnel protectors for the heat exchangers
Tunnel reinforcers
Custom rebuilt suspension
clutch kit
top end was replaced with new piston and rings (because of 03,04 ring issues)
1 3/4 track with studs down the middle (mint shape)
There are a few other things i'm missing I think. I bought it from an older guy who trail rode it and was meticulous about how he maintained it. This gave me piece of mind, so i didnt mind paying a little extra ($3500)
