hey guys, ordered a custom grind cam from Tick, but I need an installation, and dyno tune that isnt gunna destroy my bank account. vette doctors wanted 2000, just for install. that seems a tad high, lol. also Ive heard mixed reviews about pitbull performance, and Im not sure if Kaltech is still around?

does anyone else have suggestions? Im in suffolk county, Long Island, NY

2k just for install? Plus tune? We charge 2500 installed and tune for everything installed and tuned.

Pricing seems good to me most on here are DIY and complain and post about prices and scream outrage, but they have no idea what it takes for a business to operate, So take in consideration the expertise of a professional shop like RPM and Fran whom have the skill set and knowledge to get it done with the backing of support from a licensed shop you cant go wrong.

That seems high considering you already have the cam and necessary parts I assume.

Maybe ask S&K Speed for a shop that can do the install?
Have you considered doing the cam swap yourself than farm out the tune?

Yea I thought that seemed high, since I hear the average is 700-1000. I have all the parts. I'll ask SK SPEED. I was told kaltech, but then others tell me to stay clear? Idk

Should be around $1500 for install and full tuning.
You should have - cam, springs, pushrods, timing chain,plugs, gaskets and fluids.

We can do it but the other shops listed are closer.
