Just saw this trashed SS on Craigslist: http://baltimore.craigslist.org/pts/3574289468.html
Price seems high given the damage. That's a few thousand in body work, and that's hoping the frame isn't bent. Regardless, it's a shame to see a nice low mileage SS trashed like that.

I saw that ad this morning. I understand setting the price a little high for craigslist lowballers but wow!

Damn, that thing is fucked! It is an SLP though so maybe........uh no. Its probably worth a couple thousand to somebody who would part it out.

Yea, I'd pay maybe $2k tops. Could probably get about $4k in parts out of it assuming the drivetrain and interior are good.

I'm thinking somebody is still in the grieving process and doesn't want to let go. Kinda curious what the hell he hit.

Its worth an easy 3.5-4 just in the drivetrain. That's about all i'd pay and i'd hope to be able to hear it run. With that price imo it's not even worth it to offer less when he's that far off in price...

all the leaves on the intake? i've been going through hell with my car thats been sitting since 08, many probs just from sitting. the chalk on the pass window says "09" so i'm sure its been sitting since at least then.

judging by engine pic id say its an auto too

that car needs a frame machine. and a reasonable seller.......................

too bad, i like the rescue stories but that one is too far gone, as is the seller. car is automatic too. like stated it has been sitting for quite some time and that isnt going to help the cause. imo you couldnt even fix that car, you need a body and then you could make a swap...in 30 years we will drool over this..that thing has the stock lid on it, looks like a virgin, minus being raped in the front

You could buy a nice running 99-00 for that.
