Default Need help. How does one sell a Modified vette

K like the title says looking to sell the vette. I've never sold a car of this type. Would like to sell it locally. What websites are good. I plan on putting it on here and Corvette forum. How is auto trader? Anything else. It's a 99 body but everything else is pretty new. I bought it with 89k on it and Don put a new Virginia speed 418 LS3 motor in it. New stage 4 tranny and stage 5 diff. C6Z51 stabilizer bars, shocks. 3600 converter, H/C. All upgrades have 5k on them. Don's reputation is renowed. The body is in very good shape, the interior is mint. Sports seats etc. I'm not looking to make money on it, I know the deal. In fact I would post in for 25k. Is it priced right? It would be a great deal for someone who wants a vette that run mid 10's a the track and driveability on the road is excellent. Any comments and help would be greatly be appreciated.
Thanks Brent

Here and CorvetteForum are your best bet... I bought and sold two corvettes of corvette forum.

Price is debatable... We all know how much it costs to do what you have done but the issue lies in how the C5s value has diminished so much.. especially the coupe. If it was a FRC or Z06 you may have better luck.

Just got to be patient and find the right buyer.

The issue is you need someone who has a large amount of cash to spend on it, because due to the age, you're limited to how much you can finance. So like everyone has said, Corvette Forum might be your best bet.

Like everyone says......forums are best. My suggestion is when you post to keep everything IDENTICAL from forum to forum. Some of us are on more than one board, so when you see two different listings on the same car people get nervous. Also consider non-LSX/vette forums. I posted my modded STi on this forum and that's where it sold, so it's something to consider.

GLWS!!

I lucked out and never had to post my modded '02 up for sale. Just talking to a co-worker sold it. LOL Sure I may have gotten some more cake for it but the ease of selling it was huge plus I knew the guy would take great care of it.

A credit union is the best way for someone to finance it. My buddy got his low rate loan for my 10 year old car with no issues.

A agree though, here, Corvetteforum and Craigslist would be great to start. Plus like Derek said, copy/paste the ad so it matches up for those that search multiple sites.

Great car and GLWS!

The guy that bought my '02 last June went to DCU and got the loan at 2.99% on a 10 year old car. Can't beat that!
