Default scored a no winters 98 z 131k for $2,000 , needs cosmetics*added pics*

the no winters part was a bonus when I got there , wasnt advertised as such

underneath is absolutely brand new , engine ran well with no slap on a cold start only mod is a flowmaster muffler , A4 car with factory polished 5 spokes , t tops ,12 disc changer , working ac , power seats, windows,etc..no cracks in dash , drivers seat is ripped ( leather) front bumper cover and drivers fender are new but in primer , also got the damaged panels with car , apparently some guy backed a trailer into it no structural damage -I will be on the lookout for good used black panels to keep paintwork to a minimum , 4 channel car with a trac control issue that was disclosed ( dash lit up - time to research that lol my others are all 3 channel)

car has some surface scratch stuff all around , girl that I bought it from had it one year , left to her when her dad passed away , I have a feeling before she got ahold of it it was her dads baby , oh and somebody keyed the word "*****" in the drivers 1/4 hopefully I can bury that when I wheel it out , car is black so it will now be referred to as the black ***** lol

new aftermarket headlights , not real up on that as I am too cheap to put money into that type of stuff , angel eyes/projectors/led's or something like that ... along with similar fogs , turn signal leds etc.. guy (boyfriend??) said he put $400 into front lights after accident , small wrinkle on corner of hood where the damaged panels got replaced , one 1/4 has seen a crappy repaint on the top of it , will see if it will come back but the paint in that spot looks pretty checked.

had gone there planning on buying a cheap backup vehicle to run while my other toys are up for the winter , the listing showed the primed panels and I thought perfect! now I am faced with the struggle of running a no winters car that can easily be damn nice in the winter , my wifes gonna want to strangle me when I go buy an additional "winter" car because I bought another car I want to park for the winter - good problem to have I guess lol but I always leave her the 2500hd so she can get around.

Ill post pics in the next few days

also GU5/G80 rpo's bonus !

the parts that came off it indicate a very light hit

this is the quarter that was all checked to the point it looked like primer , wet sanded it with 1200 and got some shine out of it but it will need paint to look like the rest of the painted surfaces, the checks in the paint are still there just smoothed and buried a bit

good deal , I would love to find a wrecked 76 k mile 6 speed car for 3k even if it was totalled for the low mile ls1 6 speed drivetrain , the trans in my 238k mile 6 speed car has its shifting issues- a trans with 1/3 the miles would be nice , the engine still runs super at 238k

well after trying to locate a black fender and bumper cover on here and CL with no luck I dropped it off for paint 2 weeks ago ( fender/bumper cover/partial rear quarter ) should be done in the next few days (yes I know post pictures or it didn't happen lol)

Previous to that I let my buddy with dealer plates run it around for a couple weeks to see if it seemed reliable or not and it runs strong , when he returned it he followed me to my house and as we straigtened out turning onto a road with a straightaway I knew what was coming up , I was in front and waited for him to get around the corner to be fair but it didn't take him long to be climbing up on me hard ( I was surprised how much it lifted the nose and charged ahead) so I opened it up and it took all of first and well into second before I was able to erase his head start and start to pull him ( my 6 speed car has gear blocking issues at wot) so it looks like it can hold its own for just a flowmaster muffler...

great deal!

They're out there, there was a 98 z28, with 121k for 3995 on a dealer lot for like 5 months in Southwick, MA. Wish I had a bigger driveway/garage, car was clean, bone stock, would have been great for just a stall and some spray
