BMW E30 Ls1/T56 Swap - Need Help Disabling VATS
Firstly, sorry that this is a double posting... I originally put it in the pcm/tuning section, but figured it would be better off in the regional sections
Hey everyone,
I'm swapping an ls1/t56 from an 04 gto into my 89 bmw e30. Since this is the 04 motor from a gto, from my understanding I can't use the resistor trick. I don't have the key anyway to measure ohms even if I could.
Would anyone be willing to stop by with their programmer/tuner to disable VATS? Is there another way to disable it?
I'll be doing the swap in the next 3-4 week in Ozone Park, NY with my father. I'm just waiting for some more parts to arrive and have to order some little odds and ends. I'd really appreciate the help.
Let me know and thanks for reading!

Thanks, I cant wait. While browsing craigslist a few weeks ago I came across another 89 325is local to me. It was just like my current one except in much better condition. Scooped it up for the new swap car. 100k original miles. Driven by an older woman for the last 10 years, inherited from her father when he passed. I'll be painting mine back to black (it's all stripped down and ready for paint. I was just waiting to pull the motor before doing it) and will be using the "custom" paint on the new car.
