Default my new toy...250 Superkart

So Ive been racing enduro karts for 20 yrs now, raced on almost every road course east of the MS river. Well I just got home (NJ) from driving to AL to pick up my newest toy

its an Anderson Superkart w/ a Honda CR250

once i get the hang of it on the track, I plan on taking it to Atco to see what itll do in the 1/4 lol

I think a CRF450 motor in that thing would be killer!

That looks like the most legal fun you could possibly have. Always loved racing karts. What's your favorite track on this side of the country?

Very cool. I'd love to pick up something for my son and I to play with that does 20-40mph. Nothing too crazy, but fast enough to have a good time.

Even 40 on a cart feels really quick when you come from a car background. Being half an inch off the ground with no suspension really exaggerates the sense of speed.

My son is almost 8, and we went to an indoor kart place by me that the karts go upwards of 50mph. Obviously, they slow them down for the kids, but he loved it.

I just want something that we can start playing with, take to the elementary school around the corner and have some fun in the parking lot etc, but I need it to be able to go fast enough to be fun for us both. I can always slow it down for him.

Get a kart for him and a kart for you, my dad got me into racing when I was 10, he had his and I had mine, plus the karting community is tight knit and people are always willing to help new comers
