Farmville is a small *** town, was it a state or county officer that pulled you? Either way, anything over 85 is really a bad deal.

Have your speedo recalibrated via hptuners to lower the speedo to a lower indicated mph vs actual, go get your speedo calibrated at a station that provides the service, and voila..

Yep, anything could change your speedometer, tires are a common one.. I mean if you're goin 95 in a 55 you're pretty much **** outta luck, but if you're doin say 80 in a 55 and you're speedo is 6mph low, you'll get off the reckless driving ticket, etc..

NO JAIL FOR ME FOTHER MUCKERS!!!
i got a $500 fine and my VA license suspended for IDK 90days
I took a AAA Driving class, what a joke that was.
Some how the car had 235/75R16 on it : and that threw the spedo off by 10%.
i think thats about the tallest tire that can be put on without modding anthing. it was about 1/4 inch from rubbing the bumper and 1/4
if any one in PA needs a spedo check take it to Powl's Speedometer & Auto Care in Lancaster PA, DO NOT take it to Northeast Speedometer Services. They dont check the accuracy, they check the function.
thanks for all of the ideas/help

Congrats! Looks like you got off a little easier than my buddy! $500 fine sucks but it definitely could have been much worse. Glad to hear it all worked out for you.

Considering the location of Virginia I guess there is a heavy influence from Washington DC. No wonder they are a bunch of fascist, jack-booted thugs.

I live in Virginia and have had 0 problems with police, and I drove my Camaro daily for 6 years here. Not saying people haven't had bad encounters with Virginia cops but they really aren't that bad here.

I got 101 in a 65. Things didn't end well. Punished to the fullest extent I would say. I try to stay out of VA.
