Other than a few turn offs for the side streets WAY north on just the northbound side, they look done.
Made it as far south as Mackys. And other than the peel and stick lane stripes not sticking(they are all over the road in bundles), nada thing to worry about.
Rumor I heard is that the new pavement means doing a burnout that leaves "black marks" will bring a destruction of public property charge. I have a hard time seeing that stick as an emergency stop would leave similar marks and ISNT charged.

Can you imagine how much revenue businesses and hotels in the area would miss out on if they fucked everything up with bad roads? I'm glad they're finished hopefully they can bang out another mile or two of road work before Thursday because that's when it starts getting busy

few folks there already, but pretty much a ghost town considering what it will be like in a few days.
As far as the roads go, I noticed a handful of manhole covers sitting about an inch lower than the new pavement. You hi HP cars should be careful if you're busting it and run across one of these. Especially in the dark.
I also noticed that they did a really good job near the drains that are in the slow lanes. flairs out pretty good. So no big holes/dips to worry about in the ones I saw anyway.
This new pavement is just from ~60th north to Del line. As was said above, only finishing up a few side street patches this morning. The 4 lanes are done.

With our luck with weather, I figured it would rain. I will probably come up for the day in the Camaro on Friday if the weather holds out and then come back in the DD Saturday if it's just going to be showers and not a total washout. Hopefully it's still a good time.
