You people are paying a lot less then people in New York. You need to decide if you want low cost gas and dirt roads or higher priced gas and black-top. Even with the increase, it will be less then what we pay in New York and PA.

this tax would make it one of the most expensive states to buy gas.
****,everything is else is more expensive than most states so why not bend us over some more?
my cars are one of the few things i enjoy so why not take that away from me too.
my point is when the price of gas goes up so do a lot of other things we need.

Everyone check their tire pressure, alignment, grease wheel bearings. take everything out of the vehicle you do not need so that it will be as light as possible. Push it by hand to make sure it rolls easily and that the brakes do not drag.

You guys have been paying 16 cents a gallon less than the national average for coming up on 3 decades now. So even with the increase you guys have and will continue to be better off than almost everyone else who's been paying 30+ cents tax for decades.
And you wonder why all the roads in NJ are ****.

The roads are bad because we live between 2 of the countries biggest cities! 8 million people live in this small state, and I bet during the summer months with all the tourists it's probably 12million+ Even with all of that, I think the roads are pretty good..
