Front skinnies made by Moroso..
They are alot lighter than my M/T 8 Ply skinnies that I drive on the street.

M/T 8-Ply = 19.6lbs
DS2's = 12.2lbs

14.8lb savings for the pair and its off the nose

I have my seat to mount which will weigh 14lbs so thats another 17lb savings and I still have a few more tricks up my sleeve to get another 10lbs out of the car.

I might actualy get this baby down to 3500 with me sitting in the seat....
Can u say 10's with the Fat guy in the little coat driving

I had those on my Convo-Pro's as frontrunners. Great at track--on the street w/any moisture at all--watch out....That's why I just about gave mine away. Didn't want to change slicks AND fronts at the track. Best of luck w/them, though. WJ

I have 2 sets of Weld Drag lites,one to use for the track and one set for the street.I run M/T Sportsman 8-Plys on the street and run the DS2's at the track,I would never run DS2's on the street.

Good, JS. When I go to the track, I can only fit my slicks, toolbox, small floorjack, and a gymbag w/some cleaning stuff in it...You can fit 4 whls and tires? You got the back seat removed completely? WJ

Ah---A trailer queen guy! Only kidding. I envy you. Every time I go to the track I keep in the back of my head that it could be a $350 ramp truck ride home....Best wishes. WJ

I can drive the car to and from the track but it got to be a pita with carrying everything in the car.
I split the trailer with my boss and we use his 2500 H/D Diesel as the tow vehicle.

I'm looking into a 2001 or 2002 GMC 1500 Z/71 4X4 with a 5.3 so I have something to tow with too.

For now, I have to drive it. It's 75 miles to New England Dragway in New Hampshire and 90 miles to Lebanon Valley Dragway near Albany, NY. One way. All those little noises coming from the 10 bolt give you something to think about on the ride home after a fun day at the track....WJ

God I remember the 10 bolt days,I broke one pretty bad and actually clunk it all the way home.My LW seats brackets are done,My buddy Walt wants to make them look purty so no pics until next week.I still need to weld a tab on the bar for the belts and seure the back of the seat too but i can get that done next week.

I convinced my buddy who inspects the car that I;m not driving it in the winter so the HVAC is comming out in about 2 weeks after we finish a customers fuel system,I hope to have the car down to 3500 with me in it and about 3250 with a lighter driver.
