To those who have traded their car in at a dealer. No guessing needed here.

What are the odd's I can get Kelly Blue book trade in vaule on my SS? I would put it back to stock, it's a clean/sharp car.

I'm looking at GTO's, the 2004's are going for 25,000.00 brand new.

joe youll probbly get close to blue book trade value as the car is still immaculante if you can make money on the 12 bolt take it out if not they will never know anyway . alot depends on the dealer and how much room they have to play with. dont take ther first offer either . look what mike got his for , all in how you talk to them . id price o4's and 05's you might get a better trade in deal on a 05 as theres more room to play but cash for cash 04 youll get a better deal . maybe sell your car out right private sale and not have to change a thing and still get good money for it

just some thoughts

If you can get it back to stock, why not go for it? If they are starting around 24K I'm sure you'll be able to talk them down. Just play hard ball. Or better yet, just take mike with you and have him stand behind you with his arms crossed.Once you get a good price, THEN tell them you're willing to trade in your car towards the gto!

i would definitly say you'd get 10 at the least joe, and like mike said, they want the 04's gone, so im sure you'd be able to get a good deal. you can consider your rear sold if you do go back to stock and trade it in

Speedy... I would put you on a 2 day drinking binge, not let you sleep then send you home in my car with classical music on but lighting wont strike twice.

It's good to know you care that much where you would offer, that means alot to me. Your skills are serious.

I thought you were buying a Condo Definitely-do not buy a car before then.It might screw up your credit for the condo.

Definately agree with Don there!
But... there is a black A4 down here going for the low 24's. They have a '05 Red A4 for 33K also.

Joe, I think you should keep the SS, IMO. Buy the condo without jepordizing your credit. Also, why flood the area with GTOs they're over-rated. . . Ok, ok just make it a purple one that way its the different one around, thats all I can ask. It'll soon be a GTO community around here. lol
