problem need help?
well when i left my friends house tonight i noticed that my low oil light was on. and i have been checking my oil periodically cause i am aware of the fact that ls1's burn oil and ive kept up with it lately. but i hadnt check it in a few weeks and i had almost no oil in my engine but the strange thing is my oil pressure gauge read normal. so i didnt notice a change in the car. so is my gauge not broken or am i just thinkin that it reads something diff than it should. well i hope i didnt hurt anythin in my motor or soemthing else. any advie would be great thanx

IF theres no oil on the dipstick its 1-1.5 quarts low. Enough to have pressure but not enough to kill the engine or anything, that's why the gauge read normal, theres still 4+quarts in there.
