I want to go just to see what the truck will do (at least it's probably faster than some of the Hondas!) And considering I'm less than a half hour away I'll make it someday, friday's out, I got plans, but I may make it next wed!

It's not just NED, Imports seem to be everywhere. "The Ave" in Fall River used to be dominated by American muscle with a few imports tossed in years ago. Now it's the other way around. I saw in Wendy's parking lot for about 30 minutes last week. I could count the American cars on one hand while it seemed like everything was imports.

Lol tell me about it, when I go up to LVD once in a blue moon on the Wed nights, all the ricer's girlfriends dress like friggin ******. Who the hell wears a halter top and stillettos to a drag strip??? It's fun starting up your car when its cold, getting a backfire and watching them jump about 10 feet!

Hahahaha, I saw that in Clarksville, TN when I went racing down there!

I guess it's hard to walk in a redneck parking lot with consumer-***** shoes, hahaha

You know there is nothing wrong with that!

It's nice to have good scenery between runs.

If you want to see shitty imports you should come to Worcester and cruise down main street on friday and saturday nights. There are more cars with dual fart cans and duct taped on homemade body kits than you can count. Its absurd.

See I dont know why everybody is so against Friday nights. Yes the track is not prepped as good as it is on a TT or a rental day, but its not that bad. My brother still ran 9.6's last year @ 148mph on 11.5 et streets. There is a guy with a monte that has gone 8.8's at about 160 or so. I agree I hate all the 16 second imports and ****. But I also get sick of all the guys with their stangs and fbodys that run 13's or 12's and think they are the ****. I am not saying that my truck is fast or anything but when I go up there I enjoy it. Come on. No one can tell me that going to the track isnt better than being at work. Just my .02

Hey do you live in or around Worcester? I live 15 minutes south of Worcester. And what you say is true. Only thing good Worcester has to offer is the burnouts 4th of July weekend. Speaking of, anyone going this year?

i agree, however NED has there heads up there ***'s anyway. it makes it not fun
wait in line to get in, then wait for HOURS for tech, then wait hours for a pass. it sucks.
every other track i have ever run at was soooo much racer friendly. Most NED tech inspectors dont know there *** from the elbow, and they are checking my car?? and it takes the 15 minits to look at it, and every time i go the guys remember it which means 1 week ago you went threw the hole thing, a quick look should do! but nooooo.
im going to tech for the year once i get my licence and that should make racing there for me that much better

Well, aside from all the toilets running up there... How was the track? I'm curious to see what is new for the year. I heard something about the launch pad being done over, both lanes. And I know they paved a few things.

How was it? Or could you not tell due to all the idiots dragging through the water box.
