Whip~ Ya that is a maggy you see. That was the odd setup which consisted of:
-4.8L stock lower end
-LS-1 heads p/p
-Comp cam 224/224
-LS6 springs
-Magna Charger with a 3.25" pulley= 10.5#
-4l60e(built for the 2nd time in 4000 miles)
-4:11's with a burnt posi
It went 12.6 @110 with a 1.71 60'. The trans was slipping and the number 5 pistion was shot.

The new set up is:
-Forged 4.8L
-STS, gt-67, fmic, blow off valve
-Re-done heads
-New cam
-60lb injectors

I am shooting for a mid 11. Should be fully done by may 13th.

I have a 2/4 DJM drop kit. Caltracs in the rear. I run 11.5 x 28 mt et streets, but last year they started to spin on the rim so I am going to have to screw them this year.

Hehe.....ok. I also have stock block homo (Brad, not LTNKLR)

How do you like the caltracs? Do they make a rancho "lift bar" for the chevy? That seems to be the best device for the LIghtning guys.

true dat....thats tweny horsepower when used with the tornado intake!

LTNKLR....Just lots of little bolt ons. I'm installing my rancho bars tonight. I'm out of fuel pump, but once I upgrade that, I'll go back in for a C16 tune, and am hoping for 500+hp/600tq.
