Default Berlin Tpke

Anyone going to be down there this Saturday night?

I'll be in town visiting my friends at Eastside and I figured I'd check out the scene

Depends on the weather... if it's good, there should be a good group at the burger king. just get there REAL early.. so you don't get stuck parking around the back side.... unless you have a 60's mopar.. in that case, they will give you a prime spot

15 minutes away? Sounds like you can stop by on a smoke break from work at least...

They don't need to know what you're smoking, though

I live right in Berlin and I don't even waste my time there. It's ALLLLLLLL rice and a few Mustangs. You'll see if you go. Don't be suprised if you get harassed by the po-po for no reason.

The pike isn't like it used to be go back 10-15 years and it was cool as hell, nothing but old school and stangs. Everyone wanted to beat the stangs up...lol. Oh can't forget about the rice.. course all they had was Bikes back then. Packs of rice rockets. you don't even have to doing anything now to get pulled over.

So true. Even 5 years ago it was a hella lot better than today. I remember driving to different parking lots all night doing burnout contests and cops never gave us a problem, just told us to leave. The ricers killed the whole scene for everyone. How many deaths did the pike see 2 summers ago.......

well regardless, I'm heading out now. I've got to be in CT anyway and I don't have anything to do tonight other than cruise the strip so if any of ya'll are going to be there I'll be in and around the Mickey D's or whereever the most cars are. I'm in the loud-*** black WS.6

If we're sick of the ricers encroaching on our turf we just have to take it back from them. It's as simple as that

I'll be there in ~2 hours or so

Anyone going this weekend? I might go up if the weather looks good and a few peeps will be there. Which night is better, Fri or Sat?

BTW, WTF is with the gay Mopar preferential treatment??? I was up there a few times last summer with my 67 SS/RS and I was always shoved to the back because I wasn't driving a POS Mopar (despite the fact that my car was nicer than 95% of theirs).

Because the burger king show was organized by a couple clowns that are into mopars.. so if you don't have one... they don't let you have a good spot. Wanna **** them off? get there EARLY, like say around 6 or so once the summer really gets started.. and park right up in the front, one spot over from the light pole facing away from the burger king building... That really get's them going. Me and a couple friends of mine did that a couple times last year.. parked our cars and just went inside and sat there and killed time.. when the guys that run the show got there.. they were all bent.... but nothing they could do.

We need to go to BK some Sat. night this summer and fill the lot with LSx's! That would really burn their azz's!

Oh yeah, I'd be all about getting as many f bodies and vettes and whatnot in there, say aorund 6 p.m. to ruin their parade.. Be a blast to watch those guys all twitch.

On a good note, the Krispy Kreme is supposed to start a car show this upcoming saturday I do believe, supposed to be every other weekend, so that's another option for when we get tired of the gaypar's.. I mean Mopar's.

Sad thing is.. before I bought my ws-6, I looked for a challenger with a Big block for a year... finally gave up.. I wasn't paying 30 grand for a basket case car that needed 40 grand of work, and I wasn't maying 60 plus grand for a good condition car... which was all I kept finding that was gonna be something that I could actually register.
