Last year I ran a 12.7 @ 109 and I am thinkin that is to slow for my mods. I had the SES light on back then, and still comes on periodicaly. The car feels low on power and smells verrrrry rich. Takin it to the garage, I suspect the o2 sensors are shot. I just bought a ls6 manifold and I am scraping the mail order tune for a dynotune. Do you think I can get the trap speed up to 113 mph? lookin for low 12's. I just dont know how much of a difference it will make after the bad o2 sensors are changed. what doya think?

I think any H&C car should be able to get a 12.0- 11.9 Way back before I did H&C my car ran a 12.2@109 with gears and bolt-on's. Something isn't right, you should be way quicker

I agree. We will see after thursday how it feels. I really want to dump the T1 cam for something larger, and perhaps a larger tc...but I gotta get this combo running right 1st, ya know..

I'm willing to bet the tune is way off.Probly alot of KR from the tune.

Don't give up on your cam/combo until you're sure the tune runs excellent on the street. Then see what your track times are. My times got quicker as the tuning made my car more driveable too.
What gears?

she's got 3.23's in her. Just waitn on the ls6 intake to show up at the door so I can install it and get the dynotune. That SES light has come on periodically since the Heads/cam were installed. I wasnt that concerned at the time because it would go off. But I am sure slowhawk is right and the tune is way off. Hopefuly the o2 sensors help the fact that she seems to be running rich, we'll see i guess. And to even further the fact that the tune probly sucks, this is supposed to be one of the most streetable cams, yet after installing the new pcm, she continued to surge at lower rpm's and occasionally bucs. wtf..

let a bit of air in, and should help stop surging for now, most need them turned in a bit with the cam etc.. even my vert, with a small cam, did.. just a tiny bit, and huge driveability difference
