Default New Toy (pics)!

Picked up my new toy last week. Well not brand new but new ot me it has 35 hours on it. Had to drop it off at cycles 128 to have a recall fixed on it but now it should be good to go. Its a Yamaha GP1300R 2-seater. Should be good for about 65-66 mph stock. Then will a couple real minor mods it should be up around 68 maybe 69 on a real good day. Few more mods and the thing will do 70+. With some heavy mods some people are closing in on the 80mph mark.

I live by a big creek and people run those up and down it all the time. And they always have a big smile on their face. Looks real fun. One day i want to get one also. Be careful a boat doesnt run you over! I hear about that all the time in the news

Ive spent alot of time on riva. There are some good guys on that board that know what they are doing. Plus many of them have used a variety of Riva, R&D, and other parts so they know what works best.

Nice. I've ridden a few Yamahas but I'm more of a sea doo man myself. Right now I've got a '00 Sea Doo XP. In the process of pulling it apart to build a 1200cc big bore kit from Rossier with their pipe, billet head, Buckshot carbs, CF reeds, Skat Trac jet pump, intake grate, etc. Gonna be retarded when its all done. I'm having a few things chromed as well to set it off on the water.

Have fun, pwcs are the ****.

With all the rossier goodies, they claim 190hp. That's a 2 stroke 1200cc rocket. Especially on a hull as light as the XP. I can't wait to ride the thing. I know a guy with similar mods done to his and it just about jumps out of the water when you nail the gas from a stop.

Wanna race
My friends jetski has some serious work done to it. His uncle used to race for the Polaris team. Estimated horsepower (can't really dyno these things) 250hp.

250 sounds a little high. I'll race that thing all day once mines done. That hull can't compete with the XPs. Still a nice Polaris though. I've only ridden a few of those. The newer turbocharged model is decent, but I'd like to try on of the new Honda if I were to pick out a new ski.

Yeah it's crazy how the record holder PWC only does 89MPH and change. Don't get me wrong, 89mph on a jet ski is fast as hell... It seems like with all the money Riva had in theirs that it would run a little faster.

i have an R & D rideplate, trim tabs, and intake grate....ill sell for a good price.

i sold my 1200R a few years ago...but i was seeing consitent 70 mph on teh speedo...which is most likely 66-67 on radar.

200 OBO.

the old XP hulls are garbage compared to the 1200/1300 r hulls in rough water.
