Default Planning to go to NED?

I have decided to go to the track for the first time and I need to know these answers.
Do I really need a helmet? I have 345rwhp and 360rwtq
How much is it to get in?
What time they shut the gates?

thanx!

With those #'s, which are nearly identical to mine, & good launching you will easily pull low 13's, & if you hook real well, very high 12's.

So like mentiond above yeah, bring a helmet.

Racing starts at 6, or a little tehre after so try to get there early to tech in.
It seems Wed's aren't so crowded anymore as every time I've gone only 2 staging lanes are in use.

You need to wear pants too. No shorts. I almost didn't see that part in their rules. That would have sucked. I just went for the first time last wed. It was cool. Have fun.

Or wear a tank top for that matter (you have to have sleves), I did that by accident and had to wear a sweat shirt on a 90 degree day.

short sleeve is fine, the helmet must be at least snell 95 and you can buy helmets at the track.

When do u think you're heading up? I'd rather roll with someone than head up to the track alone.

You can use a motorcycle helmet as long as its Snell 95

Or just tell them you run 14's and dont need a helmet but then wear your dirtbike one

I think I paid $120 for my helmet there. It is basic black, with no graphics.

GEEZ ! Someone earlier said $17. I do have a dirtbike helmet . It has no visor but like, well y'all know what they look like. Y'all think that is going to be all right. $75 that is two tanks of gas. Hopefully they'll let me with that. Should I check it for Snell 95 or just invest in one?

it's $17 to race, if you can find a helmet for that much i'll take 10 If you're gonna race up there alot invest in a helmet. I have one i got for free from a friend it's a $200 dirtbike helmet minus the visor and it's DOT and snell 95 approved. Most dirtbike helmets are.

Your complaing about the cost of a helmet but your willing to spend the money on gas to drive to the track when there's a pretty good chance you wont even be able to race and you'll have to drive all the way back. Thats alot of wasted gas and you prob will get booted (they check for the helmet stickers).

Check your helmet that you have or buy a new one that will pass tech in.
