Sounds an idea but we cant really do that, it's more of a dream than an actual plan of action. I like the corn idea, keep the money in house with the farmers, help out country and cut prices....I dont know the details of how that fuel works and who it would work for though.
We should def be working with the Iraqi government to work out some sort of deal with oil. Even aside from helping them get rid of Saddam and somewhat make the country safer, our two countries so help each other out. We can help them revive their country, try to help keep them safe and in the future stand as one of their allies and they could help us with oil. Favor for favor. Even if Iraq was cool with that idea, if the media ever got wind that they wanted to help us with oil, do you know what kind of **** storm the media and general idiot would create with that information? Jeepers, they'd burn Bush at the stake.

This just in, my company had a profit margin 677% higher than projected last quarter.
Yep.
Somebody's getting rich.

'Ole W just signed a law that gave oil companies tax breaks to further R&D.
We're subsidising companies that make more money in a quarter then is comprehendable. Good to see W spending my $ where it's needed.
I'm glad I never had to fight for that man while I was in the service.

Check this out guys...........over in San Fran.
3.09 ..... regular
3.19 ..... mid grade
3.29 ..... high grade
Remember prices were 2.60 out west and we never thought it would get that bad over here. The west is like the future of gas prices for the east.
Who wants to bet on how soon we hit 5.00 a gallon ahahah.

For super.. it will be 3 a gallon here before the end of the year I'd bet on that all day.
I'll bet that within 2 years it will be 5 bucks a gallon for regular.. and this country'e economy is gonna come to a standstill wait and see.
We'll be at war with china over oil before the year 2030... I'll place that bet too.

its these price jacks that made me get rid of the truck .
there is no reason it should be this expensive . i remember last year when they did the comparrisons of differnt stuff price wise gallon to gallon and milk used to be almost twice as much a gallon, not quite like that now though europe is 5+ a gallon and has been for a long time , i hope it never gets to that point . these prices inflate everything because now shipping costs will go up on it all too

But the worlds usage stil climbs. That's one of the problems, the worlds usage is like 80 million barrels a day. World production is 1.5million higher. So if they go down they'll loose a crazy amount of money in a day. Hense the ludacris prices. Not to mention you're still using it right? They could charge 100 bux a barrel and we'd still be buying it.

Oils was selling at a record high of $66. a barrel yesterday. I filled all of my vehicles a few days ago. Added up the receipts that night and saw a total of $382. Thank God I haven't had time to use the boat much this year! We're all going to be modifying economy cars soon...
My in-laws took a 2 month trip to AK over the summer. They said gas was $5.00 a gallon in some areas up there.

one of my friends is doing 'study abroad' in Austria, and after doing the Euro->USD and L->gal conversions, they are paying about $4.20/gal for regular unledded . and analysts over here say that if gasoline kept up with the inflation rate, then we should be paying over $4/gal here, so we are way ahead of the curve on that.
yes, i know it sucks that 93 unledded is around $2.60 (especially since it was $1.15 when i first started driving 7+ years ago ), but looking at the big picture should make people realize that things aren't as bad as they could be.

I called the oil company and stopped automatic delivery. They were ready to fill next week at $2.39 per gallon. That's insane. It was $1.15 about 2 years ago. I had my heat last year at 63 max to compensate. This year i will set it at 57 max, just enough so the pipes don't freeze. I am not going to pay $350 to $400 per fill up. Space heater in the bathroom so my nuts don't freeze! As far as gas for the Firehawk i'm down to mid grade
