just got back from skip barber I did their 4 hour intro to racing class... SOOO much fun. It was raining so it made it even more fun. These little cars have something like 150 hp and 1100 pounds, they flew. I did really really well, better than a lot of the other people taking the class. I plan to try the 3 day course in the spring that goes a lot more in depth, but this one was definitely fun and worth while!
i think $600ish. I got some money refunded to me from school so i decided to do the class. Then they give you 20% off if you want to do another class, so you save like $700 on the 3 day one if you want to do it. couldnt resist it was that much fun

Verdad Gallardo Yeah I'm lucky enough to have been to Skip once in 1991 and once in 2002 I think it was. I drove their 1991 M3, 2002 Neon, 2002 Dodge truck, 2002 Viper, and a Formula Dodge on the skidpad and on that autocross course...sick fun 
That Limerock track is very cool and has a ton of big-time racing history behind it. I've never driven on the course, but have walked the whole thing during car shows there. They have awesome racing there, and the place even looks like cubic money...Classy big-money race cars, and the people that go along w/them...Paul Newman, etc., etc.... WJ
I did a half day deal back in 1994. It ruled. Those "little" cars are NOT designed for tall guys, lol. My car broke down so they had to fix it. I ended up getting to do a lap alone following the Viper pace car. Kinda scary to go sideways at 110mph. Oh and the best part, i didn't pay ****. I won it in a contest my mother entered me in.
