I really think it's gonna be 6-8 weeks before prices peek.

I think premium will be 4.90 very soon.

I'm thinking of getting one once my son goes back to school . I can't afford to put diesel in my truck . It cost me more to fill that sucker up every week then what I make in a week

Strait home heating fuel in that diesel.... runs the same.

I know that i've been able to limp around in my 1500 ram and get 16.4 this week.... I hate driving like that, take 20 min longer to get to work.. sucks.. but hey, I guess it's worth it in a way. Things are getting pretty bad when Im thinking about trying to remove weight from my truck to save on fuel... but at this point, I can't get rid of it, hell, I'm gonna need it to trailer the car around after next spring, and when it snows, it's nice to know I can get somewhere if I have to. Wife's malibu might be going away sooner then I thought originally. What is the smallest sardine can like car I can buy that gets 40+ mpg.... anyone know? Whatever it is, I'm gonna gut it for weight as soon as I get it home.. try to work it up to 50 mpg LOL.

I'm gonna build a go kart, 8 HP briggs motor on it, and gear it so I can go about 75 mph in it topped out, and use to go back and forth to work... I'll beat about 3 gallons of gas would get me there and back all week long!

I wonder if the cops would mind me on the interstate with that... Hmmmmm

JL, prices will come down in a bite, prob 3 months and they'll be where they were (maybe a tad higher) 2 weeks ago.

A Toyota Corolla gets 41 mpg and it's not a crappy looking car. It'll last forever, had an awesome re-sale vaule incase you get bored of it and wanna ditch it later on. I was thinking of one if my Chevy Cav dies. It's the best 4 cycl car out there in my eyes. It's not even really that small anymore.

My wife filled the C6 yesterday and was surprized to find that it cost $55. Thank God my boat only holds 72 gallons. That's only about $250. to fill I think it's time to put a collection can out when people want to go for a ride.
