Default launch pics, pre/post torque arm

here are pics of my launches before and after adding the headers, torque arm (set to -1 deg), and dyno tune. there were a few pics from each day, so i picked the best one from each.
it looks like i gained a good inch of weight transfer (of course its always possible that its just the timing of the photos). too bad i'm not gonna really see that gain on the street tires though...

Your right, it's always hard to tell because of photo timing, but your deff getting good transfer in that second pic!

I took my front sway bar off 2 years ago... after about 2 days, you'll never even notice that it's gone trust me.

As for your "foam" issues..... you're stuck there. But then again, 30 years from now your car will still be rust free LOL.

Just remove the 2 swaybar links before you leave home to go to the track. It takes all of 10 mins. to remove/install them. Re-install them for during-the-week driving. No need to remove the sway bar, as it only weighs 15 lbs.---unless you really want to shed every pound you can. You will be surprised how just removing the links improves weight transfer...Best wishes. WJ

Youll probably break the links taking them off anyway. It seems like the nut seizes up on the way off on every link I try and remove. They were all older cars than 01 though...

I took off mine in June and didn't break them, I did buy new energy suspension ones just incase they were like 20 bucks at autozone.

I never did put the bar back on though.

Same thing I did. Ifrst time I took it off.. I bought new energy suspension links, I think the bar went back on... I might have drove the car once with it back on , noticed next to no difference, and took it back off.

With skinnies on teh car on the street, it helps a little, but with the stock rims/tires, it makes next to no differnence, unless you plan on road racing the car... I'd rip that bad boy, along with all the mounts right off.
