Am I completely nuts on my asking price for this car?

https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-sale-lsx-powered-only/384084-95-formula-6spd-w-6-0l-ls1-swap-fs-ft.html

Cant give cars away anymore! I think the price is extremely fair. Maybe its just the car and its "uniqueness". I have sold alot of 4th gens and never had a problem selling one until now. This is the 3rd time I have listed it.

I think thats a little high. My buddy baught a great condition 30th anniversary car for 5800. Just the other day an LS1 sold right in this section for 6k.

EDIT: actually, with those mods it seems like a fair price. Just gotta find the right buyer which may not be too easy.

I think it's high. It is still a 95 car. It's hard to sell a modded car.

Jason the one thing I have found over the yrs is that trying to sell a sports car in the Fall is that you have to give them away. Maybe its a snowbelt thing. This is the time of yr to buy sport cars cheap, bad for the seller. If it was spring I betch you wouldnt have any issue selling it. Good Luck John

I agree. Selling a sports car now, will not get you as much money. If you can wait till Spring I think it would go fast. If you can't, expect to get a lot of lowball offers. Good Luck!

The re-sale market for and kind of Camaro or Firebird (3rd or 4th gen) sucks. Even bone stock with less than 5,000 miles you still wont get book vaule. You've got to have 20,000.00 in mods just to get KBB these days.

Yeah, I totally understand. I have owned 4th gens since 1996 and have sold quite a few of them...I know the resale value sucks. I thought that I priced this thing pretty low, but in the f-body world it is never low enough LOL

I'll probably just keep it and make it faster.

Thanks guys

Jason,

What times/mph have you ran with it? That might also help the sale. -Fred

very true. plus the market for camaros/firebirds sucks. def with the gas prices. the only thing that will hold its value is a vette. a 95 is still a 95 no matter what.
