Default inspection in new jersey

Hey,

do any of you guys know a "tint friendly" inspection place in new jersey?
somewhere that I can go to that will "overlook" the tint ?

Btw, I have LTs but I do have a TSP catted ypipe, with all the codes deleted/tuned out by TTP. Think I'll pass ?

well theirs two ways you can try. Go to the state inspection station with your t-tops off and windows down. Fat chance it'll fly but its worth a shot. The other idea that I have been contemplating is remove the power window fuse (courtesy fuse?) so the windows wont roll up or down.

And your last resort is find some crappy *** local gas station that does inspection, most of the time they over-look the crap like that.

Where in N. Jersey do you live BTW? PM me if your desperate I might still know some local places.

Ditto on the 3rd choice, they didn't even bother to put my windows up when I had the old T/A.

go to a mom and pop inspection station, youll pay for them to overlook the tint, and if all the codes are deleted then you should be fine for the OBDII scan, i had to go back a second time cause the first time it had o2 heater sensors not ready and EVAp system not ready. now everything is good to go till 07' wahoo

don't the cats have to be in the stock position or it's an automatic fail?

that would require for them to actually look under the car
ive been to many inspections in many states (with different cars, and almost all of them had LTs )... i havent had one case when they actually took the 5 seconds to look.
