Default NED 1/8 or 1/4 this weekend?

Is NED going to run 1/8th or 1/4 this weekend?

Heard they were going to run 1/8th but just called and no one answered.

there was absolutely no wind, no rain and certainly no snow and the ****** were only running 1/8mi when i was there at noon. I asked why and was told "the track is shaky". What is that supposed to mean? I'm gonna call in the am before heading down there.

Being so close to the ocean, winds bring moisture over to the track and things can get nasty, especially w/cold asphalt this time of the year, and especially on the top end. Don't always blame NED management. They want people to be safe. They know when it's right there, and when it's not. They can put gallons of VHT down, but if the asphalt temp is down, it won't work. I guess some people just can't understand that and would rather bust ***** all the time. WJ

What time are they running until?? I don't think that I'm going to get there until noon or so. I'm not even going to bother running if it's 1/8 only.

on the plus...the sun will be shining, and there wont be much wind....although it will be cold, the sun should help keep the track a little warmer. I hope they let us run 1/4 i really wanna see how much our new scoop picks upn for mph

They apparently had no clue on Wednesday as they were letting us run the 1/4 and it was very slippery. I made two 13 second passes as that was as fast / quick as I was willing to go.

I'm going to call them shortly (603-679-8001) and if it's 1/8th then I'm going back to bed.

Just called and the guy who answered said that Joe was planning on running only the 1/8th this weekend. I asked why and was told "to **** people off" and my reply was I was just curious and the guy said Joe thought the track was too cold.

I'm going to call them back in an hour and see if Joe has a final answer but I'm not wasting my time on the 1/8th.

Screw em!!!

Just called. The chick said the track is very slick because the track temp is only 39deg. They are running 1/8mi and not changing it. It's gonna be 60deg today and there is no wind or rain. But, it's their track i guess.

Not worth a 2 hour plus drive to go 1/8.
