I'm in Burlington, thanks for your help but ESP is just swapping my cam back to stock for reliability reasons so I won't be needing that tuning to get my cam right :-(.

my boyfriend is a tech at jannetty. i've seen a lot of their work first hand and they do awesome work as well.
what is wrong with the cam? Always better to have a reliable car anyway, maybe you can pick your own cam to go with your car and have better reliability?

they said it would require a TC to POTENTIALLY drive more streetable but there was no guarantee and that'd be an expensive experiment. I'll just eventually do a MAF, smooth bellow, and UDP.

Ok, I'll explain again on this thread. The car had problems with the cam installed which POSSIBLY could have been corrected with a TC, gears, cooler, etc. The car is still under the dealer's warranty so they were paying to get it right. Since the only SURE WAY to fix the problem was to go back to a stock cam, that's what they are paying to have done at Eastside. Ken was kind enough to give them a stock cam for free and just charge them for the labor involved (which is much less than the cost of a TC and cooler and install). While they were pulling the cam, ESP discovered worn lifters and trays so those are being replaced also (at the dealer's expense). I'll keep you all updated. I trust ESP.
