Turbo GSXR 1K in 2Wheel Tuner
My buddy just got sent the newest issue. His bike is on the cover, and is also the feature bike.
I posted up some pics awhile ago, prior to the turbo though. Still no air ride, and the nitrous system is still waiting for bottle brackets...
Go out and check out the mag though. Can't miss it, green '02 GSXR with a hot chick on the cover. I think the girl who posed on the bike is a stripper at Tens in Salisbury? I could be way off though, I know she is a contestant on that Coors Maxim search thing.
Gotta love the local Mass. booty.

That's not the weird part. The funny thing is me and him put a stock swingarm back on it a few nights ago. Factory 180/190 tire, black wheel and black swingarm. Thing looks stupid as hell, but it comes right up in 4th.
The extended swingarm has a jackshaft in it, but it doesn't have a bearing support. So hes gone through 2 or 3 sets of chains, one set broke on him. So he's sending it out to get rigged up with a nice support, then having it replated. All thats left is the nitrous system, and the air ride setup.
I think he wants to take an inch or two out of the forks, and just have the air shock spank the thing on its face.
On top of the fact, that the bike doesn't have rear brakes. The brake lines leaked at the fittings on the calipep inside the swingarm. So he just never put them back on.

Once he gets the swingarm back from the platers, we'll fix the brakes. It's a factory caliper, housed inside the arm. The guy who built the arm, installed it. The way I see it, a crush washer, or internal seal is the issue. Not hard to fix at all.
He was going to repaint just for the hell of it, but a few shows are coming up in the winter. With any luck, it will be at World of Wheels in Boston this Jan. I'll be there, hopefully the air suspension will be all done. Things going to look even more killer.

What does it make for power?
I have a friend here wo has a 6" swing arm, and he weighs in at about, oh, 280? Made 320 to the wheels on race gas and 16#s.
Literally stood strait up in 3rd with him on it! Thats insane!
