Know what else is going to suck? Now they will RE-realease a bunch of movies you already own on the next GEN DVD's. As if the platinum, super platinum, platinum directors cut editions arent enough to make you go crazy.

To be replaced by a 50' Sony SXRD when PS3 comes out, unless something better does.
Reciever is a Sony ES from a couple years ago. (great reciever that if you go to the right online store can be had for $100 less than anywhere else)
Infinty (Kappa's I think) Front speakers and center channel. Had these for a long time too. The rears are also infinty quadrapoles (sp?). Got them at a great price and had them forever also.
The oldest part of the system is my Good old advent 8' subwoofer. Funny thing is I have tried to replace it several times with a few other ones 10' and higher with more power and such but they dont sound as good. I tried duplicating the same firing direction and trying subs that fired differently with no luck. They would sound great for DD movies and such but couldnt get the video games right. The Advent does both really good without any adjustments.

The best thing is the room though. When I moved into my house a few years ago I built the theatre in the basement. Measured everything out,ran dedicated electric, ran all the audio wires in the walls and completely insulated and sound deadened it so I can play games or blast movies all night with the wife sleeping upsairs and none the wiser.
Nice. Room is important. I did the same tging a few years ago. Told the wife fine if you want a new house BUT the Ht has to fit in the basement. I've got a Mits 55 from 1999 and a Mac 352(pride) a marantz rec dives the rest. PSB golds up front with paradigms biploar in the back. Know what you mean about SW. My old def tech sub for 500 cant be beat.
