well after all, i think getting stopped for going 7 over the speed limit should be punishable by life inprisonment or the death penalty.
if you dont like like it dont break the ******* law.

Way back in 82' ... I got nailed for 107 in a 55 on RTE 84... The Trooper was real nice and dropped it down to 70 after a lot of conversation... The Trooper told me if I went to court, I would probably lose my License. He also told me that if I paid the fine on the ticket and mailed it in within 7 days, it might not show up in the system. SO, I took his advice, paid the $187 fine and sure as $hit, it never showed up in the system at all.
No How, No Way, whatsoever, to this day. I lucked out, "Big Time"

Guys, there' always more to it that just the speed that gets one pulled over.
My pal is a cop & he tells me that it's usually something done differently by the speeder that brings it to the cops attention & makes said speeder stand out from the rest of the cars, no flashers on lane changes, weaving in & out of lanes to get ahead, tailgating, etc.
It could be 1 MPH over & they'd get the same ticket because they "stood out".
Go 7 MPH over, stay in lane & you'll probably never be looked at twice.
Go 7 MPH over & do something "stupid", your getting pulled over.
