It's been real warm. We lost all of our snow at the end of last week and over the weekend. Got about 6" Mon. and like 2 more last night. The lake isn't even close to being frozen. There are some bob houses out on Paugas bay but I wouldn't trust it at all, their is alot of water on top of the ice and nobody has been out there. Deffinatly not worth coming up, one pack of sleds will turn the trails to ****.

Whip, tell me about it, now Lou just bought a new sled, so its even less likely to snow.

Tim, we are going to maine to grab the new sled or i would think about coming down.
if i knew sooner i would have got my new chissle picks, and made the trip.
I found some great info on ice/grass drags to get the edge on alot of sleds!!!!

Brad im guessing Loui bought that sled at the dealer you were telling me about. Go buy the Mach Z I told my dad if they woulda taken yorus on a trade you probably would have come home from the Sno-Deo with a new sled. BTW what did Loui do with Yami? Did he just say the hell with it, buy the new one and worry about sellin his later?

mike, i probably would have got the mach z if they took mine in trade, but oh well. i like mine more and more everytime i ride it.
i think im going to clutch it, and put reeds in it and beet it up some! hehe

as for the yamma, he stil has it, he is either going to sell it, or super charge it and put 200+ chissle picks in it and make it his drag sled.

hahaha i know someone with a 4 place, open but they never use it.

If he is going to do that he is better off buying a 20-24' enclosed car hauler. Sell off his open car trailer, sled trailers and whatever other trailers he has. Use the enclosed for his car in the summer, and sleds in the winter. His would be empty in winter anyway and you know he wouldnt care about tearing up the floor, he could always just put those mats down on the floor.

thats what i was thinking also. i was thinking clean out the barn to store my truck, then get a 24-26 v nose and use it to store sleds/quads, and tow sleds/quads. it wold be for car hauler also. hmmm, just put rubber down for winter. and get heat for it

Oh a a side note 5 of those guys still ended up going away. Tommy and a few otehr guys i know decided to make a trip. My old man was like yeah they arent going to Rangely tho...... so I was like where they goin? They said screw it and drove up into Canada for the week. Can't wait to see how that trip goes. If it goes good you'll see the Jan Rangely trip turn into a Canada trip and they'll keep the Feb Rangely trip.

If it goes good and i get a sled i think i might make that trip next year if i can.

U dont need heat you have that generator, put that outside fire it up and get 2 space heaters. Will heat that up nice

They went 2 hours into Canada so 7 total but you gotta rememeber they went tuesday till prob sunday. Yeah they have snow up there its Canada Pretty sure they crossed through in VT which takes about 4 1/2 hours to get to then 2 hours into Canada. We'll see how it is when they get back. WHo knows might be great riding and avoid the big crowds too. I'll be curious about how it went.

Hahaha buddy we need snow and ice for that weekend or its not ganna matter. Right now Laconia shows cold nights but days still above freezing, plus rain in the forecast all the way till feb 3rd.

I could always tell Brianna to ride the warrior and i'll ride her sabercat lol. I would prob be uncomfortable on the Warrior. I think im just ganan ask to borrow that 91 Cougar but they need the snow, and it needs to be alot colder than 35 degrees during he day to freeze the lake. I dont think 25 at night is going to do it. We'll see.
