New Daily Driver Well had nothing to do on my day off this week and saw an ad for a silverado ss in the paper. Went to the dealership to check it out and the truck was in mint condition, only 19k miles on the clock, loaded w/every option. Top it all off it had a "supercharger" looked under the hood and saw the name cool charger. Came home and checked it out, made by dyno proven, a company that makes factory warranty kits for hummers/cadillacs etc. Apparently the truck has a higher end kit as it has an intercooler setup. They claim 500-522 flywheel hp with the kit, the kit includes new injectors/tune etc. The truck feels very quick! i dont know about 500hp but considering its AWD and 5100lbs it gets out of its own way pretty well. I haggled for a bit and got a price i couldnt walk away from! So i now drive a blue 04 silverado ss (electron blue i believe) 
Truck has stainless headers and a magnaflow system, sounds great! Drove it around all night so it was to dark for pictures, hope to get some up tomorrow. Sorry for the long post but im pretty psyched

nice choice tim, congrats. im sure you will be verry happy with it, i know i love mine. i tried like hell to find a blue SS myself, but couldnt find one anywhere, and the deal i got on my SS i couldnt pass up. i dont think you really need that supercharger tho, so you should just give it to me for mine, lol.

Bman- No traded in the HD, having both would have hurt the bank account to much
Monte- Yeah definitely, i need a secretary to schedule all these rides people want lol
After closer examination this morning, the truck has headers, which apparently come with the supercharger kit, and on top of that it has an electric fan setup
Now i just need to find out how much boost this supercharger willl put out

i'm pretty sure i saw that kid at NED this fall. ran low 13's. we were parked next to each other when teching in. I'm assuming it's the same truck anyway, same color and same blower. nice ride...........mine's faster, lol.
So now that you have this nice new ride and I assume you love to drive it. . . Would that mean you'd like to take a drive and check out the SLP HO hood I still have sitting in my basement??

If you still have the hood that means you must be about ready to give it to me right?
