FAST intake, What am I doing wrong? Has to be a simple reason. The intake does not fit on flush with the heads. 
I can only get 1 side at a time to rest on the heads. It's like something is in the way holding it up, but I can't find anything.
I can only get 1 side at a time to rest on the heads. It's like something is in the way holding it up, but I can't find anything. I had the problem with the front coolant line too. I just tapped it a few times with a mallet, and it bent it enough to fit the intake in.
However now the damn thing keeps cracking when I try to bolt up the 90mm TB. And I was only using 50 in*lbs! The manual doesn't seem to tell you what torque for the TB bolts.
Also I could not come close to getting a wrench and the hex socket on the bolt 2nd from the rear on the driver's side. I had to torque it by feel as best as I could.

i took my 90mm on and off 4 times in the past two days trying to figure out what the hell is going on with my idle - i looked all over for leaks & connections and couldn't find anything that looked off

It was the coolant line in the front holding me up. 
Then I could not find the small vaccume line hook up, so I took it off again. I just took it for a ride after resetting the PCM. No SES light.
We did have an issue getting my friend's 90 to idel right. I think he got it right today.
